Marbella Bars & Clubs

Music Bars

Ana María's
This traditional venue puts on a fun flamenco show that is foot-stomping and exhilarating. In the centre of Marbella's Old Town. Plaza de Santo Cristo.

Frank's Corner
For lovers of rock music, there is a stunning collection of memorabilia here. The club gets going around 10pm and is favoured by the mid-20s-30s. Outdoor terraces, plus indoor snooker and billiards. Central Marbella, near the Skol Hotel.

La Notte Piano Bar
Epitomises Marbella's chic elegant image. The terrace has magnificent views and the cocktail list is long with music designed to get your toes tappin' Next to La Meridiana Restaurant. Camino de la Cruz.

The Champagne Room
Elegant late-night drink and dance venue, stylishly decorated to resemble the original Champagne Room of the 1960s. Well-heeled, sophisticated atmosphere. Hotel Marbella Club.

Tony Dalli's Ristorante Italiano
Certainly not just another Italian restaurant but Tony Dalli is a Marbella personality. Tony has a great tenor voice. The walls are decorated with billboards from when he starred in Royal Variety performances at the London Paladium. That was years ago now he frequently and frequently entertains his diners with a song or two (especially if there is a birthday).

Stones Music Bar
Skol Hotel. (Tel 619 6770994). Karaoke sing-alongs and all major sporting events live on cinema sized screen.

Puerto Banus

Maxim Cabaret & Restaurant
Live cabaret nightly. Intimate atmosphere and classy act with better than average dining choice.

Sinatra Bar
Small, very popular bar at entrance to the port with pulsating music and groovy crowd.

Salduba Pub
Right next to Sinatra's, attracts the overspill and more laid-back with plenty of tables to sip a drink and people watch.

News Café
Casual late night drinking venue but not much space for hip swinging and swirling skirts.

El Café de Banús
Relaxed, candlelit café where you sit and ogle the flash cars cruise by with an appropriate back drop of luxury yachts and swanky speed boats.

O'Grady's
Bustling Irish bar popular with young locals and tourists, many of whom are (not surprisingly) from Ireland. Resident DJ but not too much room to dance. An outdoor bar is useful for quick service.

El Cubanito
Featuring an unusual thatched roof, this disco pub has an outdoor dance floor and booming Cuban music.

The Mambo Club
The Mambo is one of Banús's larger venues, meaning there's ample opportunity to join in the fun and embarrass yourself dancing salsa.

Tridente Bar
Small and minimalist, the Tridente Bar offers inexpensive drinks and good service.

Tipsy Turtle
A 'rock and roll' type of venue with live music night between midnight and 2am.

Devils
Grungy spit and sawdust bar with large screen TV showing sports and pool table.

Old Joy's Pub
Plush velvet decor. Piano, singer and audience participation. Slightly older crowd who favour nostalgic music. SINATRA'S Two bars - one indoors and one outdoors - packed with people watching people. Puerto Banús front line.

Discos

Olivia Valere
It's worth staying up late for this night club disco which is located on the Istan road near the Marbella Mosque. Housed in a purpose built Moorish/Andaluz style structure with a vast dance floor, several bars and outdoor terrace for al fresco sippin'. Be careful not to choke when you see the bill. Seriously swanky nightclub, always delivers a euphoric punch, great to celebrity spot but only the disco shiny likely to get in. Ctra. Istan Km 0.8.

Café del Mar
Part of the Hotel Puente Romano, this is one of Marbella´s coolest clubs. Dreamy beachside setting. Popular with the Baywatch babe lookalikes.

Oh Marbella
Hotel Don Carlos, Marbella. Always a favourite. Open during the summer months, internationally known DJ's spin the tunes at this, one of Marbella's most popular disco's. If the legs start to weaken about 04.30 they'll change DJ's and 'bring on the late night hard man'. His beat keeps even the faint hearted dancing till dawn.

Scream Disco - (Puerto Banus)
Name says it all - one for lovers of loud music!

La Comedia - (Puerto Banus)
Puerto Banús's most popular club, La Comedia is a great place to drink, dance and have a rocking good time to the latest hits until the early hours
