Peter Deighan
 Peter
Deighan is a well-known painter whose patrons include the
British Royal Family and several Prime Ministers. Peter is
principally a portrait painter, but he also has a growing
reputation for his sporting and equestrian paintings. He spent
the first 14 years of his life on a farm in Ireland where
looking after animals including working horses was second
nature.
Deighan's paintings hang in the most
prestigious collections throughout the world including the
Vatican. His portrait commissions include such celebrated
names as Cardinal Hume, Frederick Forsythe and the first
official portrait of former British Prime Minster, John Major.
Most recently his portrait of the
golfer Payne Stewart was sold at auction for £1.4 million.
